Terms of sale. Stated plainly.

What a price means.

Every price on this site is in US dollars and includes our inspection, our provenance file and our lifetime authenticity guarantee. It does not include taxes or duties your country may charge on arrival — those are yours, and we flag them before you pay us a cent.

A price holds while a bag sits on the shelf. It holds when your bag is in your cart. It is final once Stripe takes your payment. If a bag is mispriced by us — it happens — we will tell you the truth and let you cancel or re-decide before anything is charged.

Payment.

We take payment through Stripe Checkout. Your card details never touch our servers — Stripe handles the entire payment, and we never see or store the number. Payment must clear in full before a bag ships.

Installments and wire transfers are available for significant pieces — write to the Bureau and a person, not a form, will answer.

The guarantee.

Every bag we sell is authentic, and we mean it for life. If any piece you buy from us is ever shown not authentic, we refund every cent. Full stop. That is the whole clause — we don't do small print around it.

Our inspection is physical: blind stamps, grain depth, hardware assay, atelier stitching, the interior, the lining, the smell. We don't sell anything we haven't held, opened and put our name to.

Condition.

Pre-owned means pre-owned. Each bag carries one of four grades — Never Worn, Excellent, Very Good or Good — assigned by our own eyes after inspection, and we describe the honest flaws in the listing. If a photo matters, take it. If you have questions, ask before you buy, not after.

Shipping.

We ship fully insured, worldwide, with a signature required on delivery. Shipping is complimentary on every order — you pay for the bag, not the courier.

Once payment clears, we ship within two business days. If customs or courier delays hold a bag, that is their delay and we chase it, but it is not a breach by the Bureau.

Returns.

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind. The bag must come back unworn, in its original condition, with everything it arrived with — dust bag, tags, the lot. We inspect the return the same way we inspected the bag, and we refund to the original payment method once it passes.

Custom orders, special sourceings and items marked final sale are not returnable. It says so on the listing before you pay.

Cancellation.

You may cancel an unpaid order at any time. Once payment has cleared, cancellation is a return under section 06 — except that bags which have shipped cannot be cancelled, only returned.

We may cancel an order ourselves if a bag turns out to be sold, mispriced, or fails a final inspection before dispatch. You get a full refund and our apology, in that order.

Liability, plainly.

Nothing in these terms limits what the law does not let us limit — the lifetime authenticity guarantee above is our word, not an escape hatch. Outside that, the Bureau's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the bag.

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Disputes go to the courts of Athens, unless consumer law where you live says otherwise — and where it does, your local rights still apply.
